Cuttack, Dec 1, 2025: Excitement is building across Odisha as the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced that ticket sales for the India vs South Africa T20 match at Barabati Stadium will officially begin tomorrow. The match is scheduled for December 9, 2025, starting at 7 PM.
A total of 23,000 tickets will be released, including allocations for affiliated units, online sales, and box office counters. Of these, only around 2,000 tickets will be sold online through District by Zomato starting today.

Big Safety and Insurance Measures
The match will be covered under a massive ₹150 crore insurance, including:
- ₹10 cr – Event cancellation
- ₹10 cr – Property damage
- ₹25 cr – Public liability
- ₹45 cr – Group accidental policy
Fire tenders, modern fire safety gear, emergency exits, and standby trauma-care support from KIMS and SCB Medical College will ensure spectator safety.
Practice Day for Public
On December 8, the public can watch the teams practice:
- Galleries 6 & 7 open for spectators
- Galleries 1 & 2 may open depending on crowd size
Public Transport & Fan Services
- A Bus Bay at Bali Jatra Ground will ease transportation.
- Five Integrated Help Desks will operate around the stadium.
- 3 Fan Parks will be set up at Upper Bali Jatra Ground, Lower Bali Jatra Ground, and Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
- Adequate drinking water and food stalls will be available across stands.
Team Schedule
Both teams arrive in Cuttack on December 7.

- India: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- South Africa: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
On match day, gates open three hours before the match.
