Every Unorganized Worker, even the one standing in last line, will be linked with various Social Security schemes through e-SHRAM Portal, a National Database of Unorganized Workers, to be launched on 26th August, 2021.

Govt creating database of unorganised workers: Minister tells Rajya Sabha
The database will include construction workers, migrant workers, gig and platform workers, street vendors, domestic workers, agriculture workers, migrant workers and similar other sub-groups of unorganised workers
The government is creating a National Database for Unorganised Workers (NDUW) which would start its registration this month ie. 26.08.2021 , itself, the ministry of labour and employment told the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.(11.08.2021)
